Heads up this is for the 2020 LSV, not for the MacArthur LSB. The LSB is not yet completed.

This a fantastic version/translation. If you can’t read Hebrew/Greek...it’s the next best thing!

I absolutely consult the LSV in my studies. I also consult the Hebrew and the Greek and have found the LSV exceptionally reliable. It would be helpful not to have to change platforms while studying.

Since adding the LSV Bible to my Bible study routine almost a year ago, I have gained a deeper, fuller understanding of Scripture. I've always known there are benefits to using a literal translation, but instead of helping to clarify the original intent, the antiquated language used created more of a barrier to my understanding. Not so with the LSV. It is, by far, the easiest literal translation to understand. I'm so glad I found it!

Although there is no "perfect" translation yet, this is without a doubt the absolute closest you will find to understanding what the Hebrew and Greek speaking audiences understood. Formal Equivalence is still the only true translation paradigm. This is truly a masterpiece of that very system!
