← Book Suggestions for Logos

In order to properly utilize these suggestions, we need all the following information (all of which can usually be found on Amazon.com or on the publisher’s website):

1. Individual or series title. E.g. “The Fellowship of the Ring” for a single title, or “The Lord of the Rings” for the series title (one book or series per entry, please. If there are multiple books by various authors in one entry, we cannot properly track votes and the entry will be deleted)
2. The author(s)
3. The current publisher. E.g. “Baker” or “Hendrickson”.
4. The copyright/publication date
5. The ISBN (this is included on most Amazon.com book pages under “Product Details”)

  2. Word Biblical Commentary - 1 Corinthians by Ralph Martin, pub. 1989! It's long past time we had this available in Logos.

    This lack is a serious weakness for pastors. Scholarship has moved on, but it would be well worth having this title in the WORD set as the author (R P Martin) was an excellent scholar and his works were and are much admired.

  4. Herman Bavinck - Gereformeerde Dogmatiek

    I noticed that Logos is gathering interest for Geerhardus Vos's Gereformeerde Dogmatiek.
    I would recommend Herman Bavinck's Gereformeerde Dogmatiek. It is a clear magisterial work that would be invaluable in the original.

  5. I strongly suggest to include on the Logos menu the wonderful King James Bible Updated in Portuguese language from the Critical Text!

    The Iberian American Bible Society in Brazil are open to share their King James Bible - Updated Translation from the Critical Text and Dead Sea Scrolls to Logos Software.   6. Secrets of Daniel: The Wisdom and Dreams of a Jewish Prince in Exile, by Jaques Doukhan

    This book is contemporary to "Daniel: Vision of the End" which is currently available in your store. They both were helpful in the classes taken at Andrews University Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary, and may continue to be used there today.

    I would love to have this added resource quickly searchable within my library.

  8. Church History in Plain Language, 4th Edition; Bruce L Shelley; Zondervan Academic, 12/3/12; ISBN- 10:1401676316; ISBN-13: 978-1401676315;

    The 2nd Edition is available at Logos. I have enjoyed the Audible format and I expect the Logos upgrade will add value to my Church History collection. There were several comments that a purchase would be made if Logos would upgrade to the 4th edition.

  10. The Kingstone Comics, The Christ volumes 7,8,9,10,11,12

    Good evening,

    I came across Kingstone Comics in my FB feed and thought it was a great idea to make comics based on Bible stories and characters. After looking in their website I decided to check if we had them available in the Logos Software and I was thrilled to find that in fact we do. However there are only a few and for example the Christ series is twelve episodes and there are only six available. I hope we will have more available soon. I feel with a little exposure other members would also appreciate what these comics have…
