← Book Suggestions for Logos

In order to properly utilize these suggestions, we need all the following information (all of which can usually be found on Amazon.com or on the publisher’s website):

1. Individual or series title. E.g. “The Fellowship of the Ring” for a single title, or “The Lord of the Rings” for the series title (one book or series per entry, please. If there are multiple books by various authors in one entry, we cannot properly track votes and the entry will be deleted)
2. The author(s)
3. The current publisher. E.g. “Baker” or “Hendrickson”.
4. The copyright/publication date
5. The ISBN (this is included on most Amazon.com book pages under “Product Details”)
Extra credit: add the Amazon.com link

  1. I suggest changing your website links before or at the same time you change your procedures.

    This is a routine error of website management.
    And it isn't the first time for Logos electronic communication, of which at least one that I've executed recently remains a nuisance many months after I've 'suggested' its being updated.

    This book would be a tremendous resource for relevant, current ILLUSTRATIONS that are real life. LOGOS current illustration portfolio is significant, but mostly not very applicable to the modern congregation- real-life hardship transcends time, which is not the case for Readers Digest or cultural illustrations from 50 years ago...

    Dear,

    My name is Wellington Casagrande and I am currently writting my Ph.D on the
    the coherence based genealogical method used by Editio Critica Maior in Münster
    and Birgmingham.

    My suggestion is maybe an integration of the method for Logos. The method is still on going project,
    so it might take some time, but I think this is the wat textual criticism is heading.

    If integration not possible, maybe to have the books digitally.
    They have already released a few fascicles.

  19. The New Oxford Annotated Bible with Apocrypha, fifth edition, 2018. You have an OLD edition available and need to get updated.

    Your VERY OLD edition needs to be updated in Logos.
    Fifth edition of 2018 includes the Apocrypha (available at Christianbooks for ~ $33.00). ISBN: 978-0-19-027608-9.
    This is the most excellent book to date and the commentary section in Revelation is very good.
