    This is a must read for any Christian, including Jewish believers. Dr Brown, who is a Messianic Jewish believer himself, lays out the problematic teachings that allowed even those who were well-meaning to fall into a spiral of unbiblical theology that led to some of the historic atrocities perpetrated by those doing things in the name of the Church, and ultimately caused such a division between the Church and many Jewish people today.
    This book affects me in a unique way, growing up in the Baptist church, giving my life to Christ at a young age, discovering my own Jewish roots, and taking a journey of rediscovery. I'm fortunate that I never was part of a congregation that taught replacement theology, even though I was exposed to family with that theology for a number of years.
    It is also one of the resources used in the new member's class at Baruch Hashem Messianic Synagogue, a large Messianic congregation in Dallas.
